After the first 454-km leg, which took the 237 crews entered for the 25th Tour Auto Optic 2ooo from Paris to Beaune, sunlight greeted the drivers as they began the second day, which kicked off with races on the Bresse circuit giving the Shelby Cobras and Ford GT40s the opportunity to unleash the power of their V8s (4.7 litres for the former and 5.4 litres for the latter).
