Race RetroSave the dates for Race Retro 2015 as the historic motorsport show returns to Stoneleigh Park on Friday 20thto Sunday 22nd February with even more celebrated marques, special guests and high-octane action.

Tickets are now on sale for this three-day celebration of racing, rallying and motorcycles, with some of the biggest names in motorsport invited to attend as Race Retro pays special tribute to three famous marques who have had a significant impact on motorsport.

As always Race Retro pays special tribute to three famous marques who have had a significant impact on motorsport, chosen for their history but appeal to the classic and retro motorsport enthusiast as we invite a new generation into the show while remaining true to the show’s roots.

The Rally Hall will feature a tribute to the late Richard Burns, with a display of the iconic cars he drove throughout his career, to mark ten years since his death.

Meanwhile  ‘Speed Street’ in the Racing Hall will mark the 50th anniversary of Chevron Racing and designer Derek Bennett’s creations covering virtually all categories of national and international racing during the late ’60s and the ’70s.

Famous faces will be on the Live Interview Stage in Hall 3 that will also feature the 50th anniversary of Mike Hailwood’s win at the 1965 500cc World Motorcycle Championship on an MV Agusta.

Peter James, director of sponsor Stewart Miller & Peter James Insurance, said: “This year’s chosen marques are especially interesting, in demonstrating the true breadth of the historic motor racing industry - though we are looking back as far as 50 years to celebrate historic major motor racing landmarks of the past, we are also celebrating the industry’s future.

“Both Chevron Racing and MV Agusta continue to produce models true to their world-renowned legacy and Richard Burns will forever be upheld as an inspiration to up-and-coming generations of motor racing enthusiasts, enjoying huge success with Peugeot and Mitsubishi – among the emerging classics of the future and those which will contribute to the continuing growth of the classic vehicle industry.”

As well as the celebrations inside the four halls, the fourth hosting the Autojumble and Parc Ferme, the grounds of Stoneleigh Park will be transformed into a special Live Rally Stage with the 2015 circuit promising to be the most challenging yet for the drivers of the Group B rally cars, deemed too fast to race.

Whether you wear a race suit every weekend or prefer to enjoy watching racing from your armchair rather than the driving seat, Race Retro has everything for the motorsport and classic car enthusiast.

From stunning static displays to high octane live action, classic cars and motorbikes for sale to bargain hunting in the Autojumble, you will find it all at Race Retro right at the start of the motorsport season.
