The mix of 70s Celebration cars and Motor Racing Legends Historic Touring Car Championship brings together an eclectic mix of cars. On the sports car front, the Bates brothers will be up front with Mark the quicker of the two, James the less experienced but getting faster all the time. Opposition comes from the similar 911 RSR of Bruce White, Jeremy Cooke's Marini-liveried 911 RSR and Australian Andrew Chalmers who shares his 911 RS with the hugely experienced Colin Davids. Christopher Compton Goddard shares his Ferrari 308 with Formula Ford hero Dave Coyne (who also shares Mark Wright's Ford Escort), while Simon Watts will be worth watching in his Datsun 240Z, a car that debuted at Brands last year and with driver coach Roberto Gioranelli as co-driver, Simonm is developing all the time. This will be another front-running car, as will the rumbling Aston Martin DBS V8 of Kevin Hancock and Leigh Smart. More variety comes from Chris Beighton 's Sunbeam Tiger, prepared and shared by Jon Finnemore, but the car to beat should be Manfredo Rossi di Montelera's Porsche 935. It hasn't been seen on a Masters Grid before but the Italian is planning on racing the car here and it should be the highlight of the grid. It may tempt out a few more before the end of the season too!  Tags:,
