Entries Open for the 2013 Manx Classic – Annual Three-day Sprint and Hillclimb

Manx Classic - Stephen Barker, GT40Entries are now open for the 2013 Manx Classic, the annual three-day sprint and hillclimb for classic and sports cars held on closed public roads in the Isle of Man. The dates for 2013 are: Thursday 25, Friday 26 and Saturday 27 April 2013. The event gets underway on Thursday 25 April with an afternoon and evening sprint starting from the famous Isle of Man TT Grandstand pitlane. Manx Classic - Guy Northam, Bentley 4.5 litre The action heads to the south of the Island for the Sloc Hillclimb on Friday 26 April before heading north for the final event, the Lhergy Frissell Hillclimb, on Saturday 27 April. This climb, at 1.48 miles is the longest hillclimb in the British Isles. From vintage racers to modern sports cars, recent events have seen a great range of cars spanning twelve decades take to the closed public roads of the Isle of Man, the “road racing capital of the world”.
