With the annual Festival of Speed and inaugural Moving Motor Show now over, Goodwood is reflecting on a hugely successful weekend that attracted an amazing record 176,000+ spectators, making this one of the largest public events of any description in the UK and Europe. Below is a brief snapshot of highlights from a very memorable weekend at Goodwood.

Italian sporting car manufacturer, Alfa Romeo, is delighted to be the featured marque at this year’s prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex (2-4 July) as the company celebrates 100 years of proud motoring heritage.

In just one week the 2010 Festival of Speed (2-4 July) gets underway, with the inaugural Goodwood Moving Motor Show taking place the day before on Thursday 1 July.

From 2-4 July more than 90 stars drivers and riders, and over 350 significant competition vehicles, will be in action at the world’s greatest celebration of motoring culture.

As Goodwood pushes ahead with its exciting plans for the 20th anniversary Festival of Speed (12-14 July), a rich seam of top motor racing names can already be confirmed to be attending this summer’s must-attend Festival, celebrating the best of the first 20 years of this, the world’s most popular motor sport and car culture event.

From 2-4 July Goodwood will be creating the ultimate car ‘tuning’ show as the world’s greatest celebration of automotive culture – the Festival of Speed – strikes the right chord and celebrates Cars, Stars and Guitars with musical ‘moments,’ some stunning cars and a unique guitar display.

With just over six weeks still to go until the 2010 Festival of Speed blasts into life (2-4 July), Goodwood can already confirm more than 80 star drivers and riders will be present at the world’s largest celebration of motoring culture, including over 20 World Champions who between them have collected more than 70 championship titles.
