email230315The TV coverage of the second rounds of the Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the West Wales Rally Spares R.A.C. Rally Championship will first be screened on Friday 27 March at 9pm on Motors TV.

The 90-minute programme on Motors TV will cover the full story of the Mid Wales Stages, the second round of both championships. The programme reports on a fiercely competitive rally contested over the superb stages in Pikes Peak, Myherin and Hafren in some truly challenging weather conditions.

Overall BHRC victory fell to Nick Elliott and Dave Price (Ford Escort Mk2) as they made it five wins from six in the historic section of the event. In the R.A.C. Championship, brothers Simon and Alister Crook were top finishers in their Opel Manta.

After the initial broadcast on Friday at 9pm, the programme is due to be repeated several times including at 9am on Monday 30 March and at 3.15pm on Good Friday, 3 April.

Olly Dickinson is leading the BHRC TV project and will present the programmes and on-event interviews. Each championship round will be covered in detail in a 90-minute programme on Motors TV with multiple repeats to give the championship around 50 hours of TV coverage.

Alongside the TV coverage, the programmes will again be available on iRally. The free iRally App is available for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices and offers an incredibly popular rally video channel. The programmes will also be available via the championship’s YouTube channel.
