The Warren Brings World First To Essex!

Warren Classic & Concours The Warren Golf & Country Club, Nr Maldon Essex, will play host to hundreds of the worlds most exceptional classic and supercars on 4th May. The one-day event, which is open to the public, will also feature family entertainment including air displays, music, fun and games. Set in the tranquil 350-acre scenic estate in Chelmsford's Woodham Walter, the celebration is claimed to be unique, celebrating the centenary of Aston Martin and the 50th anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Porsche 911 and the Aston DB5; made famous by Bond (James Bond). Family entertainment on the day includes the Heart FM Roadshow featuring drive time DJs, the 'Heart Angels' and live music, a play area for children with face painting and amusements, air displays from the former Red Arrows team 'The Blades' and entertaining youth and adult golf competitions. A variety of food and drink concessions will be on offer for enjoyment in the picturesque picnic area. The event will also host the 2013 Warren Concours, an impressive tribute to the finest of the classic car genre spanning ten decades, right through to the might of contemporary supercars. The Warren Golf & Country Club Managing Director, Tony Stanton, said: "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for both car enthusiasts and the people of Essex to see a spectacular array of world renowned automobiles from the last hundred years in one place. Magnificent, rare motorcars from a bygone age will mingle with jaw-dropping examples of modern-day supercar culture to create a jewel of an event not to be missed. Parking is free and public entry on the day is from 10.30am, with tickets priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children aged 5-16 and £25 for a family of four. Entry for classic car owners is from 8am and priced at £20.00 per car with privilege parking in a dedicated area on a first come basis, plus an invitation to enter a novel 'Car Park Concours'.Tags:
