Morgan Maverick Special Edition Celebrates 50 Years Since Le Mans Win

Douglas Loveridge Publications is delighted to announce the release of a strictly limited edition of Morgan Maverick, its 2008 autobiography of the late Chris Lawrence, the development engineer and racing driver credited with helping revive the fortunes of the Morgan sports car.
Publisher Guy Loveridge, of The Guild of Motoring Writers, says: “Chris and I had always planned on doing some special sales in 2012 to mark the 50th anniversary of arguably his greatest motor-racing achievement, the Morgan 2 Litre GT Class win at Le Mans in June 1962. Sadly Chris died in September 2011, but the plans were sufficiently advanced to make this release in his memory.”
This special edition of the renowned title, which is limited to only 50 copies, is signed by Chris and includes a fine art print of the Profile Publications artwork of the Le Mans-winning TOK 258 Morgan +4, chassis #4840. Also in the package is an exact replica of a 1962 Le Mans car window sticker, as worn by #4840 at its post-restoration appearance at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Having been relaunched at the Le Mans Classic 2012, the special edition of Morgan Maverick is available exclusively from the publisher priced as follows:-
United Kingdom - £55 postage inclusive.
Mainland Europe - £60 postage inclusive.
Rest of the World - £65 postage inclusive.
