The Silverstone Classic is firmly established as the World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival with a record 1113 race entries in 2013 watched by a record crowd of 90,000. The spectacular three-day event is staged at the famous Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, birthplace of the FIA Formula One World Championship and home of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The three-day festival features the very best of historic racing covering more than eight decades of motor sport as well as live music from classic rock bands and a wealth of family entertainment including free fun fair, retail outlets, a host of interactive activities and air displays, plus huge showcases of classic cars often celebrating important milestones in automotive history. In 2013 a record parade of 1208 Porsche 911s marked 50 years of the world’s most successful sportscar. The Silverstone Classic is promoted and organised by Goose Communications. Goose manages worldwide events for companies such as AstraZeneca, Bacardi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Unilever.
After several years of holding a classic car show in Eckington the Rotary Club of Chesterfield will for the fourth time join forces with the fellow clubs of Chesterfield Scarsdale, Clay Cross and Matlock for a spectacular classic and vinatge car and motorbike show.

Croft’s much raved-about retro festival – featuring historic motor sport plus a chance to live life yesteryear-style with music, fashion, WWII encampments and air displays – is back for a fourth year. Nostalgia has become one of the North East region’s events to be seen at as huge numbers of people embrace the enchanting atmosphere and attend dressed in period style. For mums and daughters there’s even a chance to get a 40s make-over! On track there’s retro race action provided by the famed Historic Sports Car Club’s single-seater (F2, FLibre/F5000, FFord), GT, saloon and sportscar championship featuring rare and famous cars from the 40s through to the 70s. It is quite simply two days of unmissable fun and a chance to stir the senses for older and younger generations alike!
Tour Britannia is the UK’s premier Race Tour for historic cars. It is open to pre-1981 cars, and follows scenic routes on quiet rural roads, with race track visits each day and stages at stately homes and other notable venues.
In 2014, the Tour will be located in Cheshire and North Wales, allowing drivers to experience more open roads.
Taking place in the grounds of Wilton House, the Wilton Classic and Supercar combines the elegance of classic cars with the engineering excellence of some of the world’s most iconic supercars.
The Oulton Park Gold Cup is thenorth west’s premier historic race meeting, notable for attracting star names such as Sir Stirling Moss in recent years.
The 2014 MSA Euroclassic will start near Portsmouth on Sunday 31 August, taking the overnight ferry to Caen and travelling to Nantes for a Welcome Reception. Two nights in Bordeaux follow, allowing participants the opportunity to explore this beautiful city and the surrounding area at a leisurely pace, before travelling to Poitiers, which will also be the location for the Mid-Event Dinner.
With a combination of challenging roads, beautiful towns and cities, motorsport venues and social fun, the event will culminate with a Gala Dinner on the second of two nights in Chantilly on Saturday 6 September. In its 22nd year, the MSA Euroclassic is open to cars over 20 years of age, as well as a limited number of more modern cars.
With a dedicated breakdown support team at all times along the route and an event doctor, both cars and people can be assured of the best care.

Kop Hill is one of the oldest hill climb venues in England, with the first recorded races in 1910. Over the next 15 years, it became one of the most popular events for car and motorcycles, attracting many famous drivers and riders. The event was revived in 2009.
