Date Change For 2015 Vehicle Restoration Show

Mortons media group, new owner of the Footman James Classic Vehicle Restoration Show, has announced that the autumn event will be pushed back a week to Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8, to avoid a scheduling clash with the Royal Bath & West Showground.

The event had originally been set for October 31-November 1, but an agreement has now been reached to move it which will allow Westfest to take place at the Somerset venue on those dates. Exhibition manager Nick Mowbray said: “With a little over seven months remaining before the Vehicle Restoration Show, we’ve taken this decision early to allow plenty of time for enthusiasts to plan and prepare for what will surely be a superb weekend.

“No other elements of the event have changed so everything, including the Charterhouse Auction, will be running as normal.”

Visitors can expect to feast their eyes on some stunning machines and a selection of fascinating projects, while many will head home with all manner of parts, pieces and tools as traders, autojumblers and professional restorers make the halls of the Bath & West their home of the weekend.

The Footman James Bristol Classic Car Show, part of the same series and run at the same venue, will take place on the June 13-14.
