Classic Rallycross Scalextric
Rallycross Champions: Presented as a two car presentation, limited edition pack, the 1991 championship winning Ford RS200 and the 1992 championship winning
MG Metro 6R4.
History - Rallycross champions from 1992
Division 2 of the FIA European Championships for Rallycross was strictly for 4-wheel drive cars. In the early 1990’s this series was famous for the titanic
struggles between the drivers of some of the most powerful cars in the rallying world. In 1991 Norwegian Martin Schanche in his Ford RS200 E2 took the
championship with Englishman Will Gollop in his MG Metro 6R4 BiTurbo coming second. Will Gollop had to wait patiently for his championship win in 1992 despite
the aggressive challenge from Martin Schanche.
