When it comes to cars in general, there are three countries that spring to mind, Japan, Germany and Britain. Even though Japan and Germany have some exquisite, sturdy and iconic cars, British cars still reign supreme. These films are renowned for their technology, music, and of course their cars.

In 1967, the world was introduced to the Aston Martin DBS series. It was this design that was developed, and it was Sean Connery who drove the car dreams are made of in the movie On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. This beauty that is the Aston Martin, is featured quite heavily throughout the film, including through a car rally chase, a winter storm and the moments where Bond’s wife is shot through its windshield. These are moments that we shall not forget.

The Bond movies even create dreams. We now dream of cars that can fly, cars that can turn invisible, along with cars that can act as a submarine, where you can drive underwater. Well with Bond… Anything is possible. The iconic scene where Bond emerges from the sea on to a busy beach, only to throw a fish out of the window is almost perfect.
